The State Government has constituted District Level Committees for identification of unauthorized private colleges and other educational institutions in the state.
“These committees shall identify and furnish information in respect of the district falling within their territorial jurisdiction every year by 15th April to Director Colleges who shall compile and prepare the consolidated list by the end of April of the same year,” an official spokesman said.
He said Government has further ordered that in 2011-12 the committees shall identify the unauthorized private collages, educational institutions and furnish report to Director Colleges latest by 15th October 2012 to facilitate further action under rules.
